Fall — Peter and The Wolf
In the fall, MPM is planning a free performance of Peter and the Wolf for area elementary students. Sponsors for this event and activities include Camden National Bank and United Midcoast Charities. Fundraising is underway and the buzz has started! Peter and the Wolf is the perfect piece to introduce young people to the instruments of the orchestra.
With a narrated story and wonderful music, Peter and the Wolf has delighted kids for years and years and we are thrilled to bring this piece to the Midcoast. Other activities include a petting zoo and masterclasses taught by MPM musicians for high school students. Stay tuned as this project develops!
